What we do
Surmax Abrasives manufactures and converts coated abrasives for industry. We take jumbo rolls of paper, cloth and film abrasive and turn them into the exact belt, disc, wheel, sheet or roll a customer's machine needs.
Slitting, joining, die-cutting and flap wheel assembly all happen in our own plant. Because nothing is subcontracted, quality stays consistent from batch to batch, custom sizes are routine rather than exceptional, and lead times are measured in days.
We supply metal fabricators, furniture and panel producers, automotive refinishers, steel service centers and distributors — from single boxes to full private-label programs.

Precision slitting
Jumbo rolls slit to any width up to 2620 mm, with edge quality controlled for high-speed running.
Belt joining
Sine-wave and butt splices pressed and film-reinforced, pull-tested batch by batch.
Die-cutting
Discs, sheets and hole patterns cut flat and packed with humidity barriers so they stay flat.
Flap assembly
Shaft-mounted and unmounted flap wheels built to any face width from our own cloth.
