Ceramic grain line for narrow belts enters production
The SX-NB CX program is now in serial production: self-sharpening ceramic grain with grinding aid, joined to order in any size.
After a year of field trials with selected fabricators and knife makers, our ceramic grain narrow belt program has entered serial production.
The new SX-NB CX belts pair micro-fracturing ceramic alumina with a calcium-stearate grinding aid on Y-weight polyester. In customer trials on 304 stainless, belt life ran 2.5–3× longer than the zirconia belts they replaced, with visibly less heat discolouration.
All common backstand sizes are stocked as jumbo and joined to order — most orders ship within three working days.
